With a big thanks to Mark, I had a few meetings today with producers and agents about upcoming Genki English TV projects.Β  They could be very exciting, so keep tuned in!

I also got invited to audition for the lead role in a new TV series as an Italian terrorist. At first I thought it would be fun, wearing all the cool suits and getting the extra exposure. But then I figured playing a terrorist on national TV would mean I’d never get another board of education to hire me ever again!

So I turned it down. But what do you think, should I have taken it?

Richard Graham

Hello, I'm Richard Graham. When I was a kid I found school to be sooooo boring... So I transformed my way of teaching. I listened to what the kids were really wanting to say and taught it in ways they really wanted to learn. The results were magical. Now I help teachers just like you teach amazing lessons and double your incomes!

You’d probably command more respect and sell more GE materials if you were viewed as an educator and not an entertainer BUT I would’ve loved to have seen Richard the Gangster!

How COOL to be involved in TV series!

We know you! But after us…and after your inminet Stardom in the TV series… People will turn your products down and just say: ” An italian terrorist teaching us English?”
98% of people beleive in their minds that what TV shows is real or has something to do with real world!

Wow Richard, you sure get into alot of things! A possible tv role? If it was just an audition, that doesn’t mean you’d be awarded the role, and I assume you’d be free to turn it down afterwards. But I think if this would be your acting debut, better to start off with a different role! I think you did the right thing. You are a role model too for kids, teachers and parents. Quite frankly, I just can’t see you portraying a terrorist!!

for several reasons: I think you made the right choice!

Genki English TV projects sound great! Will they start soon?

    And Richard the terrorist!
At first I thought it was cool. I thought everyone knows that actors act someone else. I also wanted to see your another talent on TV.

But from the educational point of view, as everyone says I think you made the right decision. You avoided the risk of sending the wrong message.

Definitely no to Mr. Gangsta. Mr. Monkey wins hands down! TV projects sound interesting. Way to go!

You could have got a loan of a certain persons Rolls Royce and you know what to help you with the part! Don’t think the white suit would go with your hair.

Looking forward to the TV projects!
But NO to Italian terrorist! Boo!!
    That is not being Genki!
You’re great the way you are! No acting necessary!

I too, think you made the right choice. Portraying a terrorist these days is not in and so I support your role. I would far more believe that if you starred in such a movie, playing the role of a good guy battling a terrorist would be the only way to go and you would wind up being a real hero!!
