50 Tips to get Genki & Motivated!

Sometimes it can be hard to be genki or motivated all the time. But whatever you, a little bit of genkiess will make all the difference. And sometimes a weird, off the wall thing to do can just do that little magic to put a smile on your face and get your back to work feeling like you can conquer the world!

So here are 50 tips, in random order, just press the button to bring one up!


  1. Jump up and down 20 times.
  2. Realise that "if you wait, all that happens is you get old"
  3. Eat an ice cream.
  4. Scrunch up your face for 15 seconds (but no longer as your eyes will go funny!)
  5. Go and smile to the mirror for 30 seconds
  6. Do 20 push ups
  7. Go and make your co-workers a cup of tea.
  8. Take a 20 minute walk
  9. Listen to a heavy rock song, really, really loud! (Even if it's on headphones)
  10. Go to Toys R Us and buy your favourite childhood toy
  11. Buy a new hat
  12. Get to work and blame someone else for it!
  13. Aim to do two hours work in the next hour!
  14. Imagine if your salary suddenly doubled.
  15. Find out how many things in the room are coloured green.
  16. Plan your ideal holiday. Then work to get it!
  17. You know, the sun is always shining somewhere in the World
  18. Think of another 50 tips to motivate yourself!
  19. throw a paper airplane at your boss!!
  20. throw away three things from your desk
  21. organise a staff night out
  22. write a poem about fish
  23. think of something good that has happened today
  24. Think of as many uses as you can for a paperclip
  25. Think of as many uses as you can for a boiled egg
  26. Think of as many uses as you can for a waste paper basket
  27. Tell someone how good they look
  28. Close your eyes and daydream for 1 minute
  29. Buy something from Lush!
  30. go to Starbucks and have a White Chocolate Cafe Latte
