August
August is hot. Very, very hot. But it's also Summer Festival time ( you'll
notice there's a lot of partying that goes on in Japan!). Usually the Summer
festivals are topped off with a huge fireworks display, and when I say
huge, I mean huge.
Then comes the o-bon holidays, where families come to together to remember
their ancestors. And after the obon holidays, although it's still hot,
people don't swim in the sea any more because of all the jelly fish.
